Message Jeje je je, je he said "jacking position," still channeling Beavis. I've been watching a Beavis & Butthead marathon on Prime Video all day.

The arrows show the mounting studs for one side of the front strut bar, with the car jacked in just the right position, not too high, not too low.

Notice how the strut stud closest to the camera is almost flush to the surface. This position is necessary to take the tension off the strut bar when installing or removing it. This can be a little tricky since if I jack the car too high, the stud disappears into the wheel well.

This is also why my little hack saves so much time, since it circumvents this step. No more jacking or removing the strut bar just to take off the throttle cover. Clear as mud?
